Specialist Psychologist and Psychotherapist Elif Demirer has organized various projects within educational institutions, municipalities and non-governmental organizations since she started her career, and she has undertaken the task of trainer and coordinator in these projects.

In 2014, Demirer acquired the copyrights of the “Motherhood Academy” project, for which she was the project coordinator and trainer. In this project, which lasted 24 weeks with two modules, Demirer aimed to bring together the knowledge of mothers with scientific methods by addressing the issues that parents experience in child education and that affect child and adolescent mental health. In line with this goal, the project was carried out with groups in the following institutions;

Eyup Municipality,
Asil Educational Institutions,
Kasif Child Academy,
Ozgur Children’s Playhouse.

Demirer worked as a trainer and project coordinator with groups in the Afife Hatun Cultural Center and Gokturk Cultural Centers within the Eyüp Municipality on the following projects;

We Fight Depression,
Let’s not own our children, let’s take care of them,
We Fight Addiction,
Is Your Dowry Ready?,
Raising Parents’ Awareness in Child Neglect and Abuse.

Another project she has undertaken as an instructor and coordinator is the “Teacher Academy” project. She carried out this project for pre-school teachers in educational institutions. With this project, she touched on teacher-student and parent relations by conveying to educators about child mental health in the preschool period.

Another project in which Demirer is involved is the “Youth Action Against Drugs” project carried out under the umbrella of SİYAM-DER and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
